Screen 1: Title screen
Welcome to the video help series for the Energy Rating Product Registration System.

In this video, we are going to show you how to complete the Labs and Test Reports page of your application.

Screen 2: Labs & Test Reports
The Labs & Test Reports page records information on the product’s tests for energy efficiency.

For the first question, we select an option to indicate whether or not a test report has been provided with the application.

The options that appear here will vary depending on the product type you have chosen and whether a test report is required to be supplied.

These are just some examples of what you might see.

If we’re providing a test report, we select ‘Yes – a test report is provided’.

If we’re not providing a test report, we select ‘No – no test report available but the registration details containing a test relevant to this product are provided’.

An additional field appears and we enter the registration number of the model whose details we are referring to.

These next questions apply if we are providing a test report.

For the next question, we select the test standard that was used when the product was tested from the drop-down menu provided.

We then select the test lab that performed the testing from the drop-down menu provided.

The next section specifically relates to the test report itself.

In the Report Number field, we enter the assigned record number of the test report.

In the Report Signatory field, we enter the name of the person who signed off on the test report.

In the Test Date field, we select the date the model was tested from the calendar that appears when we click on the text box.

In the Test Unit Serial Number field, we enter the serial number of the product unit that was tested.

Under “Upload the test report”, we select the “Choose File” button, locate the test report on our computer and select “Open” to attach it to the application.

If we want to add additional test reports, we select the “add another test report” link underneath the table.

A new table will appear for a new test report and we fill it in as we did for our first test report.

Finally, there is a Comments field, where we enter any comments or information relevant to the product.

Once we’ve entered our information, we select the “Save” button to save our changes and check for any errors.

If there are errors, a red message will appear at the top of the page.

The questions with the errors will be highlighted in red and we’ll need to fix these before we can continue.

If no errors are detected, a green message will appear at the top of the screen, confirming that the registration has been saved.

We then select “Save and Continue” to move on to the next page of the application form.

And that’s how you complete the Labs & Test Reports page of the application form.
