Video Transcript - Manage your Applicant’s Authorised Representatives

Screen 1: Title screen
Welcome to the video help series for the Energy Rating Product Registration System.

In this video, we are going to show you how to complete the Public Website page of your application.

Screen 2: Public Website
The Public Website page allows us to specify if we would like our product displayed on the public registration database as ‘Available’ and the period of time it will be displayed.

The first field is “Date first available for purchase”. This will be automatically populated by our response to a previous question on the Models and Manufacturer page, so we don’t need to do anything here.

In the next field, we select the end date of the period that our product will be available, if our product is only going to be available for a limited time. The product will then only appear on the public registration database as ‘Available’ for the period of time specified.

If we do not select a date, the product will be listed on the public registration database as ‘Available’ until the product’s registration expires.

In the table below, we upload images of our product to be included on the website.

To upload a product image, we select the “Choose File” button, locate the image on our computer and select “Open” to attach it to the application.

We then select the model number this image applies to from the drop-down menu under “Model Number”.

To add more images, select the “Add another” link below the table and add the additional images.

In the “Product Website” field, we enter the address of our product website, if we have one.

In the “Product User Manual” field, we upload a copy of our product manual, if we have one, or if required by the relevant product Determination or Standard.

To upload the manual, we select the “Choose File” button, locate the manual on our computer and select “Open” to attach it to the application.

Once we’ve entered our information, we select the “Save” button to save our changes and check for any errors.

If there are errors, a red message will appear at the top of the page. The questions with the errors will be highlighted in red and we’ll need to fix these before we can continue.

If no errors are detected, a green message will appear at the top of the screen confirming that the registration has been saved. We then select “Save and Continue” to move on to the next page of the application form.

And that is how you complete the Public Website page of the application form.

For further assistance with using the registration system, select the “Help” tab at the top of any page to go to our handy Help section, where you can find more videos and step-by-step guides to help you navigate any aspect of the system.
